My research is on the interface of visual inference, machine learning, neuro imaging, and medical informatics. I have been specifically focused on studying statistical learning/computing models for structural, large-scale, and multi-modality data prediction.

Capsule Bio:

Zhuowen Tu is an assistant professor in the Department of Cognitive Science, faculty-affiliate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of California, San Diego. Before joining Â鶹´«Ã½, he was an assistant professor at UCLA. Between 2011 and 2013, he took a leave to work at Microsoft Research Asia. He received his PhD from the Ohio State University and his ME from Tsinghua University.
